To some, the sky is the limit.

To a pilot, it is his home.

Flying in Iceland

My name is Haraldur Unason Diego, a father of three great kids, business consultant and pilot. It has been my privledge to fly for over 22 years, but photography has been a hobby of mine for even longer.

I love the scenary from the air and the possibilities a flight can bring. As they say; A mile of road will take you a mile, but a mile of runway can take you to other continents.

I derive happiness and pleasure from flying with people. My purpose with this page is absolutely not commercial. For those looking for sightseeing flights, please visit the links provided below.

Flying in Iceland

Iceland is not like any other country. It has been included among the natural wonders of the world by various sources, and from where I'm standing, it is the country that is the best to fly around in. After having flown around the States and Europe, I can truly attest to that.

There is an element of surprise in every flight. It's unavoidable. The main thing is weather. If the weather is lousy, most likely, we can't fly. Some have said that if you don't like the weather, just wait five minutes. So if you plan a trip, make sure you have a buffer of one or two days for any flying.
